Ezequiel is one of Hollywood’s very talented up and coming directors. He was born in Monterey Park, California. His mother would make him make movies with the super 8 camera his grandfather had bought. His parents always encouraged him to make more and more movies as a way to help motivate his creative talents. He grew up looking at the world through a viewfinder with the lens as his eye. He made his first picture deal with Walt Disney Pictures for a screenplay he wrote.

His focus has always been on directing. He has made many short films three of which can be seen from the links below. His short film Unwritten Law was an official selection at the Texas Film Festival.

Another short film of his called Chingaso The Clown was the winner of five awards. Two were from The LA International Film Festival for Best Short and Best Suspense. Two awards were from Action on Film Festival for Best Editing and the Axium Grand Prize and one award was an Audience Choice Award from the Kevin Smith’s Movis Askew Film Festival. In addition, this short movie was the official selections at over ten film festivals which is a remarkable achievement.

Ezequiel has directed over a dozen commercials three of which have won awards. Another one of his short movies called Spyware was submitted as part of the 48 hr. Film Project where all participants had to create a short movie from scratch and submit it within 48 hours. This movie won Best Editing, Best Musical Score, Best Cinematographer and Best Sound Design.
