Our team has read hundreds of scripts and stories and from which there was one particular story which stood out above the rest. Without giving too much away this is a ghost and horror story with a lot action and nail biting scenes and twists. Believe it or not there is also a little humor thrown in.

The story is set in modern day times in California but is based on a true Mexican legend that originated some 500 years ago. The legend has it that a poor but beautiful Mexican woman fell in love with a young handsome Spanish nobleman. They secretly married and had two children. However, the nobleman's parents arranged for his marriage to another woman of equally high status which the nobleman did not object to.

When the Mexican woman found out about this she went crazy, lost her mind and killed herself near a lake. People say that her crying can still be heard near the lake and that her ghost still roams the area around the lake looking for victims to kill.

Now back to the present. A group of young paranormal enthusiasts in California have heard of this legend and decide to go to Mexico to investigate it. On their journey to the lake the group accidentally gets split into three. Adventures take place with each of the three groups which will keep the viewers on the edge of their seats.

At this stage we do not expect you to understand the depth of the script since the above is too short a description to come to any major conclusion. However, we urge you to call us so that we can explain more details and our vision for this movie. The core of our business philosophy is to produce very commercial professionally made movies with a great story as its anchor.

When the true commercial value of a movie is not fully explained to the investor then there will inevitably be missed opportunities. Take for example the movie Rocky which was written by Sylvester Stallone. Stallone had previously written 32 scripts all of which met with rejection. Even when he wrote Rocky it was not plain sailing for Stallone. He had to face a lot of rejection from investors because many thought this was predominantly a movie about boxing which it wasn't. It was about a persons courage and struggle to overcome obstacles in life to get a shot at the title. Eventually one investor took a chance on Stallone. Needless to say Rocky was a huge commercial success at the box office. This movie was also nominated for nine Oscars winning four of them.

Then there was George Lucas' Star Wars movie. Many investors and almost all the studios rejected the story. They didn't realize that Lucas’ story was totally new and ground-breaking with great commercial potential. Even Lucas’ earlier movie “American Graffiti” had a very tough time raising funds to get it made as almost everybody rejected it until Ted Tannen understood Lucas’ vision and got the movie made. American Graffiti was a smash hit.

Even the movie "The Blair Witch Project" initially met with much criticism and negativity amongst potential investors. They raised the funds on their own and got this low budget film made independently which basically had just three actors for most of the movie. This movie went on to gross over $150m at the box office and needless to say became a huge success.

What we are trying to emphasize here is that we strongly believe our movie will be a success at the box office as we have done a lot of research to bring many success factors together on this project.
